Weather questions
Weather questions US buyers ask most, with the workshop's answers.
- A common question
Will regular indoor cushions be OK on a covered porch or balcony?
The workshop's answerYes, if the area has a solid roof and gets no rain or direct sun; regular fabrics are not waterproof, though. For screened porches with pollen, dust and humidity, or anywhere open to the sky, choose outdoor fabric.
- A common question
Can I leave outdoor cushions out in the rain and snow all year?
The workshop's answerThey handle sun and passing showers, but they are not built to sit uncovered through rain and snow: the foam is not quick-dry and there is no mesh drainage bottom as standard. Keep them covered, and store them over winter.
