Buyer questions

  1. A common question

All I have are the overall chair dimensions. Is that enough to make seat and back cushions for metal garden armchairs?

    The workshop's answer

Not for a good fit. Once the chairs arrive, measure the width between the armrests, the seat depth and the back-cushion height you want. The workshop recommends a seat 3 to 4 in (8 to 10 cm) thick in 32-density high-resilience foam wrapped in polyester batting, with ties at the back corners. Boxed cushions with piping are no problem.

  2. A common question

My outdoor couch is always under a roof. Can you make cushions for it?

    The workshop's answer

Yes. The shop agreed to make two patio cushions for a covered outdoor sofa with a seat about 96 x 31 in (243 x 79 cm), wide by deep, and offered to send pricing.

  3. A common question

Could you make soft, slouchy seat pads that drape over the chair like the ones in my photo?

    The workshop's answer

Not that style. Those pads use a different inner filling, and the workshop builds only with 32-density long-life firm foam, which will not drape. The shop said so before production rather than promise a look it could not deliver.
