Every photograph here is a real dining chair cushions & pad made to measure, read line by line by one of the seven masters. For sizes, foam and fabric, start at the Cushion Atlas page.
Do you make round cushions, say for bar stools in a café?
The workshop's answer
Yes. Send a reference photo with the diameter and thickness. For a new coffee shop, the workshop made five 16 in (41 cm) round cushions at 4 in (10 cm) thick, built for heavy café use; 3.5 in (9 cm) was also possible. The workshop makes the cushion and foam only, not metal stool frames.
My chair size isn't in the dropdown. How do I order custom pads for a set of chairs or bar stools?
The workshop's answer
Pick the size range using the cushion's widest and deepest measurements, then write the exact size, thickness and fabric code under Add Personalization. If the seat is trapezoid-shaped or unusual, upload a drawing with the measurements marked. For eight identical chairs set the quantity to 8; if sizes differ, place separate orders. Square bar stool cushions are ordered the same way.
Can you make a trapezoid seat and a rectangular back cushion for a Danish-style chair?
The workshop's answer
Yes. Order the seat on the trapezoid listing, for example 23 in (58 cm) at the front, 22 in (56 cm) at the back, 24 in (61 cm) deep and 4 in (10 cm) thick, non-tufted, with the zipper at the back. Order the back on the rectangle listing, for example 22 x 19 in (56 x 48 cm) and 3 in (7.5 cm) thick. Reversible cushions are made without a non-slip bottom.
