    Can you make a tapered seat and a matching back cushion for an outdoor chair on a covered porch?

    The workshop's answer

    Yes. Send a drawing with the back edge, front edge, depth and both side edges written on it, plus the back cushion size and the thickness you want. For the back height, take the seat-to-top distance and subtract the seat thickness: 19 in (48 cm) minus a 3 in (8 cm) seat leaves a 16 in (41 cm) back.

  2. A common question

    I already own the floor sofa. Can I buy just the ottoman to go with it?

    The workshop's answer

    Yes. The ottoman can be ordered on its own from the options, and it ships with its own metal support bars. Buyers often add an ottoman to a sofa they bought months earlier.
