Buyer questions

  1. A common question

Can you make L-shaped banquette box cushions with hidden zippers and piping along both the top and bottom edges?

    The workshop's answer

Yes. The workshop makes box-style seat and back cushions with piping on both edges, zippers hidden on the back edge and high-density foam, in performance fabrics that include olive and moss greens. One four-piece set was quoted with one to two weeks of production.

  2. A common question

Can you make channel-tufted back cushions that hang on the wall above a banquette?

    The workshop's answer

Yes, and the build depends on how they mount. For hook-and-loop tape, adhesive or loops on a rod, they are made as filled fabric cushions. For screwing or flush mounting, such as on a French cleat, they get a solid wood or MDF backing inside.

  3. A common question

If I order a custom window seat or bench cushion today, when would it reach me?

    The workshop's answer

It depends on the piece. A plain bench cushion has been the quickest; a window seat cut to your outline or a special fabric takes longer, and delivery to the US starts only at dispatch. A good quote gives both times, one after the other, so send exact sizes and the fabric code up front.
