Buyer questions

  1. A common question

Will the metal support bars scratch a hardwood floor, and will the floor sofa slide around?

    The workshop's answer

According to the workshop, the bars have small protective dots, and the seat cushions have a non-slip layer or hook-and-loop tape underneath. One buyer found neither on their set and put felt feet on the bars.

  2. A common question

Could you make a kids' play couch like the foam ones sold online?

    The workshop's answer

Yes, in linen, and tufted if you like, though it costs more than the mass-market versions. Some shapes can't be tufted, such as drawn under-seat pillows.

  3. A common question

Could the modular play sofa with a backrest be sized for a 48-inch alcove between two closets in my toddler's room? We don't need the fold-out.

    The workshop's answer

Yes. The workshop asked for a hand sketch of the 48 in (122 cm) alcove and a few inspiration photos, reviewed them, and came back with options to fit the space.
