A blush corduroy kids floor sofa, read for height and depth
A pink play couch beside a pine toddler bed. Two stacked slabs, a back, two bolster arms. The numbers are small. They matter.
The quick answer
A kids floor sofa takes its seat height from stacked cushions, not legs. Two 6.7 in (17 cm) layers put the top about 13.5 in (34 cm) off the floor, and that height can be raised to order. One 8 in (20 cm) slab still gives floor-sofa comfort. The backrest and bolster arms take depth from the seat, so check what is left for sitting.

Five pins, from the grayed blush pillow to the pale star decals above the bed.

- Blush round pillow
A grayed pink keeps the color gentle next to the sage wall.
- Front bolster
The bolster's ribs run around its length, catching light in thin stripes.
- Base cushions
Box-edged slabs keep a crisp outline even in a soft color.
- Plush toys on rug
Toys left on the floor show the couch is lived with, not staged.
- Star wall decals
Small pale decals add pattern above without competing with the sofa.

Why the play couch stands on stacked layers, not legs
The couch has no legs. Its height is a stack.
Two box-edged slabs make the base, and their outline stays crisp even in a soft color. A backrest stands behind them. Two blush bolsters form the arms, and two round pillows lean against the back. Each of those pieces takes a few inches from the seat. What remains is the depth a child actually sits on.
That is the proportion to read here. A thicker base lifts the seat toward a small table. A thinner one keeps it close to the rug, for lying down and climbing. Children measure comfort with their whole body, so they will use it both ways.
There is no piping. The corduroy ribs already run around the bolsters and catch the light in thin stripes. A cord would add one line too many.
The color works because it is grayed. Blush and sage sit near opposite sides of the wheel, but both are muted here, so they rest together. The pine toddler bed, the small table and chairs and the white cubbies share one pale palette of wood and white, which leaves the couch as the only colored object. The star and moon decals stay small above it. The plush elephant and bunny on the jute rug say the couch is used, not staged.
How high is the table your child draws at? Sit on the floor beside it before you choose. The seat height calculator and the kids floor sofa size guide help with the numbers. More builds live under kids floor sofas and in the corduroy library.
One pink piece. Everything else wood and white. The room stays calm.
