Buyer questions

  1. A common question

My wicker chairs are horseshoe-shaped. Can you make U-shaped cushions to fit them?

    The workshop's answer

Yes. Send a photo of each chair, a simple sketch with measurements or a template if you have one, your preferred thickness and your fabric and color. Photos of the actual chairs help get the curved cut-outs right, and the workshop then prepares a quote and production time.

  2. A common question

I already have foam. Can you make just zippered covers for it?

    The workshop's answer

    Yes. Send your foam sizes. One porch swing got covers only, with extra-strong zippers and no inserts: a 55 1/4 x 27 3/4 x 4 in (140 x 70.5 x 10 cm) seat and a 50 x 13 x 4 in (127 x 33 x 10 cm) back pad.

  3. A common question

Can you make tie-on cushions for my vintage ladder-back dining chairs?

    The workshop's answer

Yes. Send a photo, a simple diagram with the dimensions including both the left and right side edges, and how many you need. Ties go at the back to hold each pad, and the covers are removable and washable. One set was four 4 in (10 cm) pads with sides of about 11 in (28 cm) and front and back edges of 13 in and 14 in (33 and 36 cm).
