Buyer questions

  1. A common question

I'd like a velvet window seat cushion with bolsters to match. Can it be at least 4 inches thick?

    The workshop's answer

It can: standard thickness is 4 in (10 cm), and every size can be customized. Pick a color number from the velvet swatch card; one buyer chose dusty rose, no. 11, for a 25 x 63 in (64 x 160 cm) seat. Then order the set with seat, backrest and bolsters, and write the thickness in the note.

  2. A common question

Can I order only a backrest, or just the bolsters?

    The workshop's answer

Yes, backrests and round bolsters are sold on their own. One buyer ordered two 4 in (10 cm) thick backrests, 7 x 63.75 in (18 x 162 cm) and 7 x 56 in (18 x 142 cm), with shipping included. A zippered backrest is possible as long as it isn't tufted.

  3. A common question

My cushion is shorter than the size option I have to pick. Do I pay for the bigger size?

    The workshop's answer

You select the option above your size, and sometimes the workshop refunds part of the difference. It did so when a 73 in (185 cm) cushion was ordered under a 76 in (193 cm) option, and it offered a goodwill partial refund on another out-of-standard size.
