Buyer questions

  1. A common question

Is this fabric really black? I need a true black.

    The workshop's answer

Check before you order, because several fabrics that look black on a screen aren’t. One dot print is dark gray with white dots, one stripe is a very dark navy that passes for black in photos, and the darkest corduroy is dark brown. There is no black corduroy in the range, so ask for a photo first.

  2. A common question

Can I order just the covers and keep the foam inserts I already have?

    The workshop's answer

Yes. Covers-only orders are made the same way, with piping and ties if you want them. One buyer ordered a 67 × 15 × 2 in bench cover and six 18.5 × 16 × 2 in chair covers, all piped and tied. A 79 × 21 in (200 × 54 cm) window seat cover on its own came to about two-thirds of the price with foam.

  3. A common question

Which of your fabrics holds up best to kids using the bench every day?

    The workshop's answer

The velvet range is the most suitable: very strong, resistant to the wear and tear of daily use by children, and easy to clean when spills happen.
