Buyer questions

  1. A common question

Could you make a fixed back section for my banquette that attaches to the wall?

    The workshop's answer

The workshop doesn't make back cushions fixed to the wall, but it does make the back cushion itself. Loose, pillow-style backs are usually the more practical choice. Send final measurements once the bench is built.

  2. A common question

Why do outdoor cushions cost more? Are all the fabrics priced the same?

    The workshop's answer

No. The outdoor fabrics are premium: water-repellent and highly resistant to sun and UV. Cheaper fabrics exist but aren't suitable outdoors. If the area is fully covered, the workshop can re-quote in an indoor fabric.

  3. A common question

My daybed mattress is about 8 in (20 cm) thick. Can you make the Hemnes set to fit it, plus a spare mattress cover?

    The workshop's answer

Yes. The set is made in any size, including for a 7¾ in (20 cm) mattress, and an extra mattress cover can be bought separately on its own link. The fabric in that order was a thick, high-quality corduroy. Matching curtains aren't offered.
