Buyer questions

  1. A common question

Which size should I order for a cushion on top of a four-cube IKEA Kallax?

    The workshop's answer

The top of a 4-cube Kallax is about 15 x 57 in (39 x 146.5 cm). Choose the 16 x 59 in option and the shop makes it to the exact Kallax size.

  2. A common question

Four inches won't be thick enough for us. Can you go to 6, 7.5 or even 8 inches?

    The workshop's answer

Yes, thicker upholstered cushions such as 7.5 or 8 in (19 or 20 cm) can be made, with an extra charge for the added thickness. Send the length and width for a quote. One buyer who had ordered 4 in and needed 6 in paid a small upgrade fee through a balance link.

  3. A common question

I put the tape measure in my photos. Can you read the sizes from those instead of me typing them out?

    The workshop's answer

Photos are welcome for showing the shape, but reading exact numbers off a tape in a photo invites mistakes, so the shop asks you to type them: front width, back width, depth and thickness. It then draws a template with your figures beside each edge for you to check before it quotes.
