Buyer questions

  1. A common question

My cover came back with the piping fabric on the main body and the body fabric on the piping. Can that be fixed?

    The workshop's answer

Send the workshop a photo that shows both fabrics. When the workshop swapped the body and piping fabrics on one order, it remade the cover in the right ones straight away, cut to fit over the foam the buyer already had.

  2. A common question

If I add a backrest to my bench, does it have to be as thick as the seat cushion?

    The workshop's answer

No. A backrest can be thinner than the seat, for example 4 in (10 cm) backs over an 8 in (20 cm) seat, or 6 in (15 cm) instead of 8 in (20 cm), which also lowers the cost. Backrests can run along both the long and the short sides.

  3. A common question

I already own a designer teddy-style sofa. Will your replacement covers fit it?

    The workshop's answer

The workshop's cushion sizes are the same as, or very close to, the original teddy-style sofa, so the covers fit. One buyer even ordered the cushions and bars without covers, to use with covers they already had.
