Buyer questions

  1. A common question

My window seat is an irregular shape. What do you need from me to make the cushion?

    The workshop's answer

A hand-drawn sketch with every side labeled, plus a photo of the seat area. The makers review it and send back a screenshot showing which size options to select; then you attach the drawing and fill in the personalization section completely when you order.

  2. A common question

The size calculator only asks for width and length. How do I order a trapezoid window seat cushion?

    The workshop's answer

Enter the maximum width and length so the listing can price it, then write the exact shape in the personalization or order-notes box: long side, short side, depth and both angled sides. One real example was 86 5/8 in (220 cm) on the long side, 42 7/8 in (109 cm) on the short side, 24 in (61 cm) deep, with 31 1/2 in (80 cm) angled sides. The shop can also send photos of trapezoid cushions it has made.

  3. A common question

Should I order my cushion an inch smaller than the bench so it fits?

    The workshop's answer

No, don't go smaller. Order the exact bench size, such as 47 in wide by 18.5 in deep (119 x 47 cm), for a clean, full look, and measure the bench once it's installed.
