Buyer questions

  1. A common question

Should I take half an inch off my measurements so the cushion fits?

    The workshop's answer

No. Send your true, exact measurements. The workshop handles every fitting allowance during production, so the cushion fits the space.

  2. A common question

Could you make a zippered corduroy cover for my mattress, about 35 x 79 in and 4 in thick, with matching pillow covers?

    The workshop's answer

    Yes. A corduroy mattress cover of about 35 x 79 x 4 in (90 x 200 x 10 cm) can be made to size, with matching covers such as 16 x 16 in (40 x 40 cm) and 24 x 24 in (60 x 60 cm). The workshop asks how many you need.

  3. A common question

Should my piping match the cushion or be a contrast color? I'm stuck.

    The workshop's answer

It's a matter of taste; about half of orders use matching piping and half contrast. Same-fabric piping is the lower-risk, clean look and the usual recommendation. One shade darker gives a subtle outline, and a soft body with velvet piping also works.
