Buyer questions

  1. A common question

Could I send you a photo of my couch or curtains and have you pick the closest color?

    The workshop's answer

Yes. From a photo the shop names the nearest shade; velvet 34 was the pick for one green couch. For the copper tones in a curtain print, a buyer shortlisted 4 colors (12, 37, 14 and 21) and ordered those swatches to be sure. Screens vary, so a swatch is the safest check before a large piece.

  2. A common question

I'm an interior designer ordering for a client. Is there trade pricing?

    The workshop's answer

Case by case. One interior designer who asked was offered an extra reduction, with better pricing discussed for ongoing work, and the workshop has also taken money off first orders.

  3. A common question

The upholstery I already own is a light warm greige, close to khaki. Which of your fabrics sits nearest to it?

    The workshop's answer

Three linens come closest. L-03 is a light warm greige, L-02 a cream leaning to light beige, and L-11 a shade cooler if your fabric has a gray cast. Against a khaki chenille the workshop pointed to L-02 and L-03 as well. A screen shifts tones this subtle, so order physical samples first; one sample order can hold up to 5 codes.
