Buyer questions

  1. A common question

Can the piping be the same fabric as the cushion, or can I skip piping altogether?

    The workshop's answer

Either works, and contrast piping is the third choice. Self piping in the same fabric is the easiest for the workshop to make. For outdoor cushions the shop recommends it, because it looks tailored and reinforces the edges.

  2. A common question

Is the linen in code L-02 gray or beige? I'm after a warm off-white or a natural neutral.

    The workshop's answer

L-02 is the best-selling fabric: a warm cream or light natural beige with no gray undertone, and not a dark beige. For something whiter, L-01 is lighter. L-02, L-03 and L-04 are the beige tones on the linen chart.

  3. A common question

Can I have a contrasting piping color, and does it have to come from the same fabric chart as the cushion?

    The workshop's answer

Yes, pick any color on the fabric charts for the piping, and contrast piping can come from a different chart than the cushion fabric. The piping colors are the same charts shown in the listing images, more than 150 options, so write the cushion code and the piping code when you order.
