Why the two pillows are almost the same cream

The gift that arrived four inches short
A buyer in the US ordered an 18 x 48 in (45 x 120 cm) floor couch as a gift for a child. When it arrived they measured it at about 4 in (10 cm) short, in both length and height.
The workshop explained that vacuum-packed cushions filled with cotton need time, and some stretching by hand, to regain their size. It also pointed to the 1 to 2 in handmade tolerance. The exchange grew tense before it was settled. In the end the workshop apologized and refunded part of the order.
A cushion folded in a bag is not yet its size. Let it recover. Measure it flat. Take photos of the tape. Then compare.

The workshop's answerNo screws is deliberate, so assembly stays simple. The bars push together, then slide under the seat cushions, and the weight of the cushions holds the frame in place. If the joints keep drifting, tape the connections. After complaints, a newer, taller version of the bars was made and sent as replacements.

Why pair a scalloped pillow with a boucle ball instead of square pillows?
Two different shapes in nearly the same cream give the eye two surfaces without adding a second color. A flat ribbed scallop and a curly sphere stay calm against sage corduroy, where a row of squares would look busy.
Does a corduroy kids sofa need piping?
Not here. The box edges are unpiped and the scalloped pillow has a narrow self-fabric lip, so every outline stays soft. Corduroy's ribs already draw lines of their own across the seat and back.
How long should a vacuum-packed floor couch rest before I measure it?
Until it has fully regained its shape. Cotton-filled cushions also need a little stretching by hand. Measure lying flat, photograph the tape, and only then compare with the order; handmade sizes carry a 1 to 2 in tolerance.
Which way should corduroy ribs run on a low backrest?
