Can you make custom-size covers for a modular sofa from another brand?

Measuring pieces you didn't design

  1. Number every piece

    Base, backs, corner, L-shaped cushions. Covers are cut piece by piece, so each one gets its own line.

  2. Write length x width x thickness

    One line per piece, for example 80 x 39 1/2 x 7 in (203 x 100 x 18 cm) for a base.

  3. Photograph the sofa

    One clear photo of the whole sofa, plus any odd-shaped piece, helps the workshop get the fit right.

  4. Put it all in personalization

    Every size goes in the personalization box; send the photo when it's asked for.

A cover you didn't design is a cover you have to read

The cover is cut to what you write, so send the true size of each piece rather than a padded guess: an 80 x 39 1/2 x 7 in (203 x 100 x 18 cm) base, then 39 1/2 x 39 1/2 x 10 1/2 in (100 x 100 x 27 cm) L-shaped cushions, and so on. The photo carries what numbers can't, like the turn of an L-shaped cushion or where a back meets a seat.

Teddy-style modular pieces with exact measurements are accepted. Not every sofa is, though: one five-piece set with a storage ottoman was declined, so send photos and sizes before ordering if yours is unusual. Custom covers take slightly longer than standard ones.

Can the covers close with elastic instead of a zipper?

Mattress covers are zipper-only. Elastic sofa covers can be quoted, but with a warning that they fit poorly on soft, rounded cushions; an open-bottom skirted cover is another option for daybeds.

How much longer do custom covers take?

Slightly longer than standard covers. No fixed number of days was given, so if you have a deadline, mention it when you send your sizes.
