My floor sofa arrived, but where are the metal bars?

Cushions and hardware travel apart, and small boxes hide well. Here's where I'd look first, and what happens when a bar really is gone.

Check for the small box first. The cushions travel in two roll-packs. The metal bars ride in their own small box, and every parcel carries its own tracking number. They can land on different days. One corner-sofa order came in 5 packages.

Small boxes hide. Look at the front door, the backyard, the entrance, and ask the building staff. A buyer in the US had 3 packages delivered together by UPS, rods included. The concierge was holding the third box. The metal support bars entry shows what you're hunting for.

Count before you call. A corner sofa should build 4 L-shaped frame sets. If you can only finish 3, you're short a U-shaped or short piece. In summer 2025 the shop was producing an upgraded version of the bars. For that stretch, bars went out separately by expedited FedEx with their own tracking number, up to 7-8 business days after the cushions, or within 1-2 days of a buyer reporting them missing. Normally they ship with the cushions, still in their own box, and may simply arrive on a different day. The modular floor sofa hub has the rest of the setup.

Can the bare metal bars scratch a hardwood floor?

They can. Slip a piece of carpet or fabric under the 5/8 in (16 mm) bars, or add felt feet. A fitted protective bar grip was being made, because grips from other brands may not fit.
