"Can the ends skip the piping?"

Yes. Write no piping in the order note, then send a short message after checkout so the request is seen twice. The ends come plain-sewn. The edge of each cushion becomes a fold, not a cord.

Is the order note enough to get plain-sewn ends?

Send a message after ordering as well. The workshop asks for both, the note and a follow-up message, so the plain-sewn finish is caught before the covers are cut.

Is corduroy the lowest-priced fabric for the floor sofa?

Fabrics other than corduroy carry a slightly higher price, so corduroy is the lower-priced choice. Color is open either way, and two teddy sofas can even be combined into a corner in two different colors.

Are the chrome side bars covered in fabric?

They can be. A version with fabric over the chrome sides exists, but the bar covers are ordered separately from the sofa, so add them on purpose if you want no metal showing.
