Two corduroys can share a name and still disagree in daylight. The floor sofa wears its own cloth, and that cloth has its own codes.

Corduroy is a fabric of ridges, and every ridge has a lit side and a shaded side. A deeper, fluffier pile holds more shadow, so the same brown can read as tobacco on one cloth and milk chocolate on another. That is why a swatch from the bench listing tells you little about the sofa.
