Why is the listing price so low? Is it for the cushion or the whole set?
Also asked as:Is this whole set really that price? What size is the cushion at the lowest price?
The smallest thing on the menu sits at the top of the price line: a scrap of fabric, sent so you can hold the color in your own light.
SaveThe quick answer
The lowest price on a cushion or sofa listing is for a fabric sample, not a cushion, a set or a sofa. Open the size options and choose a real size to see the price of each piece and each full set; prices rise with size. If you order only a sample, the shop messages you to confirm before sending it.

Why a swatch leads the price line
A listing shows its lowest option first, and on many cushion listings that option is the swatch. It is there on purpose. Daylight never lies; your screen sometimes does, and a small square of velvet or linen on your windowsill settles more than any photograph.
So read the menu like a fabric counter. The sample is for looking. The sizes are for sitting. The fabric swatches pattern explains how to order samples that decide it, and screen vs swatch shows why the two disagree.
Which color are you hoping to see in real light?
Before you check out
- The cart shows a real size, not the fabric sample line.
- The price changed when you picked that size.
- If you wanted swatches first, you chose the sample on purpose.
- Watch for a message from the shop if only a sample is in the order.
A cushion listing's lowest 'from' price is a fabric swatch, not a cushion: the real price of a piece or a set shows only after you pick a size.

Buyer questions
- A common question
Is the low price on the listing for the cushion or the sofa?
The workshop's answerNeither. The lowest price shown is only a fabric sample. Open the size and preference options to see the price of each piece and each full set. If someone orders only a sample, the shop messages them to confirm before sending it.
- A common question
What size cushion do I get at the lowest price?
The workshop's answerNone: that price is the color chart or fabric swatch only. Select a real size to see cushion prices.
- A common question
Can I get fabric swatches before I order?
The workshop's answerYes. Samples are sold through a separate fabric-samples listing, and on the sofa listings the low-priced option is a fabric sample for checking color and texture, not a sofa.
- A common question
Is the low price for one cushion or the whole set?
The workshop's answerNeither. The cheapest option is a fabric swatch. Cushion and set prices depend on the size you choose, as a 28 x 56 in (71 x 142 cm) linen set showed. Several buyers ordered the swatch by mistake, and those orders were canceled.
Questions buyers ask next
How big is a fabric sample?
Standard swatches are small, about 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 in (3 to 4 cm) square, enough to judge color and texture. Velvet can be sent as 4 in (10 cm) squares on request, and some samples have arrived around 6 in (15 cm) square.
I checked out without choosing a size. What did I buy?
Fabric samples only. A mistaken sample order is refunded and you reorder with a real size. An unshipped sample order can also be canceled if you have already decided on the cushion.
Can an interior designer get every color at once?
Yes. Designers can buy the fabric-sample option once and ask for a complete swatch set of every color for the usual shipping-only fee, so later client orders can be chosen with the fabrics in hand.
