Can I get the floor sofa metal bars in gold, black or another color?

No, the floor sofa's metal support bars come in one finish only: chrome-finish silver steel, whatever color the cushions are. Gold, brass and black bars are not made, and there is no wooden base instead. If a listing photo made the bars look brass or color-matched, the photo misled; the bars in the box will be chrome.

Do the bars change with the sofa color?

No. A mustard sofa, a cream sofa and a green sofa all ship with the same chrome/silver steel bars. There is one finish for every cover color, and painted versions are no longer made.

Is there a floor sofa that needs no bars?

Yes. The one-piece models have a solid foam backrest fixed to the seat, so they need no bars. The classic modular sofa uses separate, softer shredded-foam backrests held up by the bars.

Will a new bar color be offered later?
