The quick answer

Custom cushions ship by express courier, mainly FedEx, with UPS Express for large parcels such as floor sofas and DHL for a few regions outside the US. The workshop doesn't use small budget carriers. Every parcel gets its own tracking number when it ships, and a new one is sent if a label is replaced. Ask the workshop for the current transit time before you order.

Which carrier takes which box

  • Bars, parts and replacements: usually FedEx
  • A few regions outside the US: DHL
  • Small budget couriers: not used

Why FedEx and UPS Express, and no budget carriers?

Rain doesn't negotiate, and a parcel sitting in a slow depot doesn't either. The workshop ships many orders to the US every day and doesn't hand them to small courier companies: FedEx takes most parcels, like a window seat cushion, and UPS Express takes the big ones, like a modular floor sofa.

Once a box is handed over, the carrier sets the pace, so ask the workshop for the current transit time to a US door. You get the tracking number the day it ships, friend. When it lands, the first 72 hours Pattern covers the unpacking. Does someone sign for parcels at your place, or do they wait on the porch?

When the tracking goes quiet

  1. Find the right number

Each parcel has its own tracking number, shared when the order ships. A two-box order means two numbers.

  2. Look for a replacement label

If a label was replaced, the workshop sends a new tracking number. Follow that one.

  3. Call your local FedEx

Calling the local office directly can speed a stalled parcel along or arrange a pickup.

  4. Keep your phone number on the order

The courier uses it to reach you about delivery.

Custom cushions travel by FedEx express, floor sofas by UPS Express, and every box carries its own tracking number from the day it ships.

Buyer questions

  1. A common question

Which courier brings a floor sofa?

    The workshop's answer

Sofas to the US have gone by UPS Express. Parts and replacements usually go by FedEx, and every parcel gets its own tracking number.

  2. A common question

Which courier do you use? I don't want a slow budget carrier.

    The workshop's answer

FedEx and UPS. The workshop ships many orders to the US every day and does not use small courier companies.

  3. A common question

Will I get a tracking number for my cushions?

    The workshop's answer

Yes, it's shared when the order ships. Deliveries go by FedEx or UPS, and a new tracking number is sent if a label is replaced.

  4. A common question

Which carrier do you use, and why do you need my phone number?

    The workshop's answer

FedEx. The phone number lets the courier reach you about delivery. If a parcel seems stuck, call your local FedEx directly; that can speed things up or arrange a pickup.

Questions buyers ask next

Can I pick the delivery day or a safe place to leave the box?

Yes. Give the workshop your preferred day and a safe place or a neighbor, and use the courier's tracking link to manage the delivery. If you're away when it arrives, call the carrier to hold or rebook it.

Can my order wait until I'm back from a trip?

Yes. Share your travel dates and the workshop holds the order, reconfirms with you, and ships it to arrive after you return. Exact days can't be guaranteed, but you can adjust the day with the courier.

Can delivery be guaranteed for a party or event date?

Not firmly, but the workshop can prioritize production, upgrade to express and time dispatch toward your date. Ask for the express timing in writing; holidays can add a day or two, so leave some margin.
