Do you carry name-brand outdoor fabric, or something similar?
Also asked as:Do you carry Sunbrella in navy?Needs to be Sunbrella or the like
The short answer is no, and the longer one is more useful: what the outdoor fabric is, what it isn't, and how to match the shade you had in mind.

What the outdoor fabric is, and what it isn't
Buyers ask for the big outdoor fabric brands by name, friend, and the honest answer is that the workshop doesn't carry them. Outdoor cushions are cut from its own outdoor performance fabric, and it's worth knowing exactly what that is.
It's a polyester with a water-repellent, UV-resistant finish, not a solution-dyed acrylic. Water-repellent is a promise; waterproof is a contract. Read water-repellent vs waterproof cushions before a cushion spends a rainy week uncovered, and acrylic, olefin or polyester if fiber is your deciding question.
What you do get: more than 150 outdoor colors and patterns, stripes included, over 32-density foam, with covers that come off for the washing machine. The outdoor cushions hub shows the shapes it comes in.

Buyer questions
- A common question
Do you carry Sunbrella fabric or something like it?
The workshop's answerNot the Sunbrella brand. The workshop uses its own outdoor performance fabrics, durable, weather-resistant and made for outdoor use, with removable machine-washable covers. There are more than 150 outdoor colors and patterns, including tones close to popular beige, mushroom and navy shades; send the codes you like and close-ups come back so you can match.
- A common question
Can my patio set be made in Sunbrella?
The workshop's answerThe workshop uses its own outdoor fabrics instead and sent stripe options to choose from. The set in question was five seats at 22 x 21.5 x 4 in (56 x 55 x 10 cm), five backs at 21.5 x 15.5 x 4 in (55 x 39 x 10 cm), a round-cornered ottoman and two pillows.
- A common question
Is your outdoor fabric Sunbrella?
The workshop's answerNo. It's the workshop's own outdoor fabric, used over 32-density foam. In that case a large concrete-bench order was trimmed to seat cushions only, in black.
- A common question
Does the outdoor fabric feel plasticky?
The workshop's answerNo. It feels like real fabric, not plastic or a tarp. It's firmer and less velvety than indoor upholstery, closer to a good sun-lounger cushion, and buyers have consistently rated it comfortable.
Questions buyers ask next
Can I put linen or velvet cushions outside instead?
No. Linen, velvet, chenille and the other indoor fabrics aren't made for open-air use. For a patio, porch or deck, order from the outdoor range, which is weather- and UV-resistant and comes in any piping combination.
How thick can outdoor cushions be made?
Any size and thickness, including 6 in (15 cm), in the water-resistant outdoor fabric. Piping is optional, and ties can go wherever you need them, such as the two corners of a long side.
Are the regular indoor fabrics waterproof?
No. The standard fabrics are indoor fabrics. For spill-prone indoor use, such as a classroom, there is a water-repellent collection that sheds spills, plus a separate outdoor range for cushions that live outside.
