Can I buy just the missing half of my floor sofa?

Then buy the other half. Order the single sofa and it comes with two straight backrests. Or order the closed-corner half directly.

The add-on set is smaller still: 2 seat cushions, 1 straight backrest and 1 L-shaped backrest. You can also pick the 'sofa only' option and have its contents swapped for the pieces you lack.

    Yes. The add-on ottoman, 39 x 39 x 13 1/2 in (99 x 99 x 34 cm), ships with a straight backrest and a metal bar. Add a corner backrest instead to make an L.

Does the L have to turn to the right?

No. The sectional has no fixed direction, so the chaise, open end or ottoman can sit on either side. Move the L-shaped backrest to the other corner.

Is the upgrade priced as a whole new sofa?

What size floor sofa seats three people?
