# A Cream Velvet Hemnes Daybed Cover, Set Up as a Reading Corner

*One arc lamp, one burnt-orange cord, and a buyer who sent only a thickness. How the missing numbers were found before anything was cut.*

A buyer ordered the Hemnes cover set and filled in one number: a combined thickness of 9 1/2 in (24 cm). No length. No width.

The workshop did not guess. It paused before cutting and asked, because Hemnes mattresses are not the same size in every country. The buyer measured and wrote back: 79 x 31 1/2 in (200 x 80 cm).

**The workshop's answer:** Yes. The set is made in any size, including for a 7¾ in (20 cm) mattress, and an extra mattress cover can be bought separately on its own link. The fabric in that order was a thick, high-quality corduroy. Matching curtains aren't offered.

**A common question:** I already own back pillow inserts. Could you make very tight-fitting covers for them?

**The workshop's answer:** The workshop suggested supplying its own inserts instead, with no change to the set price. No thickness had been given, and nobody knew whether the inserts were foam or fiber-filled, which makes a tight fit unpredictable. With the workshop's inserts, everything sits as it should.

**A common question:** I only need the zippered mattress cover for a twin or full daybed, none of the pillows. Is that possible, and how long does it take?

**The workshop's answer:** Yes. Choose the 'mattress cover' option and write your main and piping color codes. A twin cover 8 1/2 in (22 cm) thick with piping and a full-size cover 9 to 10 in (23 to 25 cm) thick without pillows were each quoted on their own, with 4 to 5 days of processing and 2 to 3 days of delivery after dispatch.
