# My size isn't in the dropdown. How do I order a custom size?

*Nobody's bench was built to a dropdown. Here is the order, one follow-up at a time.*

> **The quick answer:** To order a custom size cushion not in the dropdown, choose the size range your measurements fall into and type your exact size in the Add Personalization box. The dropdown only sets the price. Add thickness, fabric code and piping code too, such as 36 x 11.5 x 2 in, Main: 111, Piping: 133; the workshop cuts and sews to what you write.

## “Walk me through ordering a custom cushion size.”

1. **Choose the covering range**: Select the size option your measurements fall into, or the next one up. A 30 x 84 in bench goes under width 30-32 in and length 82-84 in.
2. **Set the thickness**: Pick your thickness in the listing as well, so the price matches the cushion you want.
3. **Type the note**: In Add Personalization, or the note to seller, write exact size, thickness, fabric code and piping code: 36 x 11.5 x 2 in, Main: 111, Piping: 133.
4. **Message after checkout**: A quick message lets the workshop double-check the size before anything is cut.

## “Will fractions or odd decimals trip anyone up?”

No, partner. A size like 57 5/8 x 15 3/8 in is cut as written, and so were 22.5 x 36 in (ordered under 24 x 36 in) and 17 x 52 in (ordered under 18 x 52 in). The production team treats the personalization box as the main reference, above the dropdown.

**A common question:** Should I pick the nearest standard size or give my exact measurements?

**The workshop's answer:** Both. Select the range your measurements fall into, or the closest option, for pricing, and write your exact measurements, thickness and fabric code in Add Personalization. The cushion is made to that size, so there are no gaps.

**A common question:** My bench is 30 x 84 inches and I don't see that size. Can you still make it?

**A common question:** How do I order 26 x 80 x 3 in when it's not in the list?

**The workshop's answer:** Pick the closest option, here 24 x 80 in, and type your exact size and fabric in the personalization box, which the production team uses as the main reference. The workshop can also add a new size option to the listing.

**A common question:** Do I just write my size in the comments?

**The workshop's answer:** Yes, in the personalization box, after selecting the closest or next larger option for the price. Send a quick message after checkout so the size can be double-checked. Quoted or unusual pieces get a custom order payment link instead.

## Questions buyers ask next

### What if I need three cushions in three different sizes?

Add each size to the cart as a separate item, each with its own option and its own personalization note. An order paid as a single cushion, or in the wrong size, has to be re-placed rather than adjusted afterward.

### Can I write my measurements in centimeters?

Yes. Sizes in centimeters are made the same way, for example 47¾ x 19¼ in (121 x 49 cm), or 14¼ x 68½ in (36 x 174 cm) ordered under the 15¾ x 67 in (40 x 170 cm) option. Choose the range that covers your size once converted, and write the exact figures you measured.

### Can the workshop tell me which option to click before I order?

Yes. Message your measurements first and the workshop will tell you which size option to choose. For quoted or unusual pieces, it sends a custom order payment link instead of using the dropdown at all.
